John P. Mulhall, MD discusses the differences between Low Testosterone and Testosterone Deficiency. He teaches us that Low Testosterone is simply the measurement of the Testosterone in the body, called serum testosterone. Testosterone Deficiency is really a combination of the presence of symptoms AND measurement of the Testosterone in the body. Testosterone Deficiency cannot be determined by either symptom or by serum testosterone levels alone.
The symptoms that are part of Testosterone Deficiency are
Low Energy
Fatigue
Decreased Endurance
Losing Muscle
Central Obesity
Irritability
Depression
Erectile Dysfunction
Low Sex Drive
